My brand new Wested in Venice

Post by Guardian Devil »

Well I've just returned home from a trip to Venice with my girlfriend and I took along my birthday gift from her, my new favourite of my Wested jackets. My brand new LC dark brown Cowhide.
So I thought I'd share a few pictures:

dude! thats awesome! I'm going to be ordering soon and yours fits you just how I want mine to. What did you have you specify to get that fit- Is it a custom fit? What is the length? Looks great! Thanks, Ron

I'll hopefully have some photos of San Barnaba soon, I went picture crazy and ran out of film pretty quick, but as soon as my girlfriend gets the rest of hers developed then there should be some in there!

Thanks for the kind comments about the jacket, I've had a couple of off the rack westeds and for this one I just worked out the measurements and details from the jackets I already had, like where exactly I liked the sleaves to sit, collar, length lining, pockets etc. So it became a bit of a frankensteins monster of all the bits of my past jackets I loved. It went back a couple of times, but finally came out exactly how I wanted it. I planned to try my hand at a bit of distressing, but I just can't bring myself to do it
