What Price Glory MKVII Bag Strap

I just got a WPG Mark VII repro. and was wondering how to attach the leather strap. I was able to unfasten the bolts on one end and attach it to one of the rings on the bag but I'm having some trouble attaching the end with the buckle. There doesn't seem to be anyway to unfasten the bolts on the end of the strap where the buckle is.

Also, should I just forget about leather strap and get a different one?

Hey Dengar! I don't have my bag in front of me. However I think I had to un bolt the screws and completely thread the strap out of the buckle. Slide the strap through one ring. Redo the buckle, then through the other ring and re attach bolts. OR...

Maybe rotate the d-ring around to the straight side and bend it apart enough to slide the strap over it. If it has a break in it that is. I don't remember. Hope this helps!
BTW good choice for a bag. Mine has held up beautifully!

I finally attached the strap to the bag. It's just difficult because the strap is so thick ans stiff.
