Well it is about one month and counting for me still, still no jacket :( I hope it arrives this week, but I guess with all the specs I gave, I guess I may not get it for a while. Plus you guys got off the rack jacket, so they are going to be much quicker than my custom.

SR5150, glad you are enjoying your jacket any pics yet?

Rock Bottom, what does that distressed cowhide jacket look like, how is the thickness of the jacket? Glad you got your jacket, I hope mine arrives soon, so far it won't be here today. Oh well, maybe I can get a HJ hat here ordered, and then the jacket and the hat would be here at the same time. That would be kind of great timing. Well I am sure my jacket will come, I will let you guys know when it gets here and post a few pics in a post.

I posted a few photos in this thread: http://indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?t=24907

It's pretty thick and heavy, but I like it a lot. I kind of wish I'd been patient enough to get a custom made. I'm having my tailor shorten the sleeves and it is going to cost nearly as much as the extra for the custom made.

I think I convinced a couple of people at work to order them so I ought to get a finders fee!!

Rock Bottom, that is a beautiful jacket. I think you have got me convinced to go distressed cowhide. Just an awesome jacket. That jacket makes me more anxious to get mine. I would do probably do what KT said cause the cuffs to shorten up a bit over time, but if you really are going to pay to have it redone, that is probably a good option too. It is a beautiful jacket. I hope you get that finders fee, maybe you can include me in on that on my next jacket. I am probably going to get the cowhide in a LC maybe even a Raiders since it looks great. I may go Novapelle LC on my next jacket too, depends on what the samples look like that I hope to get with my jacket. Wear that jacket well Rock Bottom.

Apology accepted SR5150...::vader choke::  Actually the picture is not bad, looks like you got a Lambskin Raiders, looks very nice SR5150. Ya nice buckle for your strap. :) If your wanting to get another strap, and this is a little off subject here, I would go with one of Lee Keppler's. There in a post in the gear area, going to have to hunt for it or I could post a link if your interested. Great gear though, what is the hat you have? I cannot really tell from the pic. Thanks for sharing and get that jacket worn in some.
