Hi guys, I bought a Belstaff Hero jacket (cost me a fortune) and was wondering what is the best leather dressing I could put on it that wont change the color or damage it in any way. I've heard Lezol is pretty good, anything else?

Any of the water based dressings will work best if you're wanting the jacket to stay exactly the same color.
Lexol, Letaps (only available in England, unfortunately), and Pecards Motorcycle Leather Lotion would be my recommendation.
Bear in mind, though. These are all cleaner/conditioners, and NOT water repellancy products. If you're wanting that kind of protection, you're going to have to bite the bullet and allow for some darkening of your jacket with the application of standard dressings like Pecards standard or Jell.

First of all, congratulations on a great jacket. I own one myself and it is a fantastic jacket. I have an inquiry out to Belstaff as we speak about this very question.
Do you have the buffalo hide or the lighter 'replica leather' Hero? I have the buffalo and is very soft and broken in, but it almost feels like it has a plastic coating to it. Belstaff claims that many of their leather jackets are waterproof, which may account for that plastic feeling.
If that is the case, you may not get much conditioning into the jacket, but since this jacket comes predistressed from the factory, that coating may be compromised.
Of course the cotton jackets like Will Smith's Belstaff in I Am Legend are both heavily waxed and have an additional Leather Tex coating.
