I placed my order on Aug 17,2002. I e-mailed Peter when I still had no confirmation on Aug 19. He sent me a confirmation message via email on Aug 20. ( The jacket arrived on Oct. 1. - I love it!). Don't panic, you are doing business with a reputable businessman but I don't think he has automatic email confirmations of orders in place. Someone has to attend to it personally.

Yes indeed...as I said in your earlier post, I never received a confirmation number or anything, and I got mine in 5 weeks. Also, the price should be on the website. I am curious about how you did not get the cost for your jacket. Keep us updated!

Peace,

Actually the price on the web site in US$ is approximate do to the fluctuating exchange rate between the $ and the pound. So dependant on the exchange rate you could pay slightly more or less than the price quoted on the site.

Just my $.02

Oh ok...I didn't know that, just like with Akubra's website. I simply sent Wested a check for $250, assuming that was the cost. Thanks for the heads up Cuyahoga...I'll keep that in mind for future purchases.

Peace,
