If it's your size it'll definitely be worth it. If for nothing else, the year long wait time for one of these! Congratulations! You are one lucky b******! :)

An AB on Ebay your size and you won it?! With that kind of luck you need to go buy some lottery tickets - pick up one for me while you're at it!
You will not be disappointed - these hats are worth every penny, and now with AB's being the official hat of KotCS you can tell people you own the real deal...
Congrats!

Thanks guys!! yeah it should fit. If not, i will get some styrofoam and it will shrink to my head eventually as did my akubra. The odd thing is, i asked the seller the specs of the head. He said it was a 1 1/2 inch ribbon, 5 inch crown, and 2 3/4 inch brim all the way around. But from the picture of it, it doesnt look like a 5 inch crown, does Fedora even make 5 inch crowns as the AB is a Raiders fedora? maybe the guy just measured the creased height. Anyone know if Fedora (by default) dimensionally cuts the brims on his hats. The guy didnt seem to be a gearhead anyway. So maybe he just measured the brim in the front and figured it was the same all the way around??

Well Done. Ebay really is hit and miss and I hate getting sniped at the close of an auction. So glad you were able to pick this up.

I just got my AB from Ebay in the mail. I was not disappointed. This thing is amazing. I turned it, and rebashed it to my liking. im going to sit on it, and beat the#*&*$ out of it!! It just seems to get better and better. The HJ has got nothing on this. Im completely satisfied and glad i didnt have to wait. For anyone who wants a screen accurate Raiders and hasnt ordered one. GET IT!!! Thanks to Steve and Marc for putting so much effort in for the fans. Its no wonder Harrison Ford put this one on his head!

They're artwork, are they not? I'm expecting my AB back any day now from Steve - I had him reblock it using the KotCS block to give it a straighter, "stovepipe" look but with the Raiders pinch.
Enjoy your new hat!

I don't wnat to kick a dead dog, but Marc and I are wearing our hats kicked jauntedly to the side these days. As time has passed, and the reality finally hit home with the both of us, we have both realized that of all of the hats got in for samples from other hatters, including HJ, once ours got there, the search was over.

The AB detractors can think and say what they want. But the fact of the matter is, we gave them what no other hatter could give them. We gave them what they were looking for, even if they had to wait on us making the hats. Unlike HJ, or other hatters, we could not just send several dozen hats at one time, but had to ship as we made them. They were still getting our hats while the filming was going on. This was not the way they would have wanted to do this, but the fact that they did agree to it, just shows, we were a cut above the others. This vindicates AB, regardless of its detractors. We were in a race, and we won. It is that simple.

So most of the guys here were right about our hats, and we proved it, in the biggest way it could be proved. We were chosen to make Indy's 4th hat. And that is so gratifying to the both of us. To have your work recognized by the "ones that matter" is the highest praise we could ever receive.

So is the AB a great Indy fedora? I dunno, ask Steven, George, Ford and Bernie. They picked it, afterall. Fedora

There are Adventurebilt DETRACTORS?

I've never heard a bad word about these wonderful hats. Who are these nasty naysayers?

Well, the truth of the matter is that there is not one hat which will suit everybody. If that were the case, why would there be variety? The positive customer testimonials of any product speak for themselves, but there will always be the odd man out who, for whatever reason, was not 100% happy with his purchase. In that case, the hat should go on the auction block and find a new home on an appreciative hat wearer.
