So I get home after a long day of work. Tired and stresed, but hey it's all good.

I start thinking maybe I should do something. :P

Anyways I get going and going. Everything is good to go with these moulds. (Or molds :P ).

And yeah long story short, get everything ready to go, mix out the resin and.... BAM! Not enough resin. So I have to get more. But here is a couple teasers.

Prototype hopfully Thursday night or the weekend sometime.

The S&W logo is in there and I just put clay in there so that it could be picked up on camera. It's not a stamp of color it's really etched in the resin. Well not etched but cast, meh you know what I mean. :P I added my grips (new ones still haven't come in yet), just for fun. They fit perfect. ;)

on a side note, that looks like a revolver made out of white chocolate. it reminds me of something i saw on saturday night live. tot paraphrase jack handy:

i think a nice present for the president would be a chocolate revolver.....but since he's a really busy man, you probably have to run up and give it to him really quick.......

I am an Eskimo fan. And I don't like Star Trek all that much. :P I guess what really matters Indiana G is what hockey team you cheer for. *cough* Oilers *cough*

So that means no one is on the list? :P

I'll start a list when I get some final pics of the prototype up. Paint is drying...

since i am in calgary....i don't mind the flames. my true passion lies with the late 70's/early 80's canadiens.....which means i'm a canadiens fan.....which probably means i'll probably get a nice creation from you 'bout the same time the habs win the cup again

Tsk tsk... That's it. The price has gone up to $250. :P

So I hate this smoothcast 300 resin. I can't wait until I get some real good medium setting task plastic. So then I can actually pre-pour some parts on the moUld. The parts are real tight fits, so I might not even need to have any other mechanism to hold the cylinder in place. So that means you can move it out, but not have to worry about it coming out when you draw the gun real fast. :D

So here's one more cast with everything. The front of the frame from the trigger guard to barrel is a little #### from air bubbles. Ah well. I could only find 2 .45 dummies right now so that's why there is only two in there. But just for effect. :)

And what's that at the bottom? A real lanyard swivel?? Intresting... :P

Image

So I'll start a list on this post. You can take your name off if you wish until I post final pics of a gun up. Then I ask for not to many tire kickers, but I think everyone is real good for it. Right now it'll take about a week or so to do a gun, just because of my workload and the time it takes to make/paint etc.

I put people on that have expressed intreset. If you can't be on the list no worries at all. Just let me know. :)

So the list:
1. rhboyd
2. Indiana G
3. nicktheguy
4. NELS
5. Indiana Croft
6. crowe07
7. indiana lurch
8. Snakewhip_Sable?
9. djd
10. ShanghaiJack

NK, yes I'm in for sure...and hopefully you won't send me one when the leafs win, cause I'll probably die of old age first...unless I can find the holy grail.

Indy G, I'm pretty sure you would get one before me, the habs will win before Toronto.

CFL??? What's that...oh right I remember now...that league where the Buffalo Bills still wouldn't be able to win in

Hey everyone. So.
I guess I can start taking orders. If you want to see the final product painted that's cool, but if you want to get the ball rolling that'd be cool too.
I've ordered the lanyard swivels and the grips are in transit.

So PM me if you're ready to go. Cost is $110 and shipping to Canada is $10 or US is $15. Price is in CDN or US. Whatever you choose. :)

It should take about 2-4 days to make depending on my schedule. I'm out of the country from Dec 18-26 also.

I'll try to number each peice so you know which one you have, in the "set".

If you want to wait until pics of the first one completely done are up, that's cool too.

Well it really depends on when I get the grips/rings in lurch... Then it should only be a couple days to make, and then express is 3-5 days usually for shipping. So if stuff gets in here next week it could possibly be ready before you leave.

And for those guys interested and ready to go, shoot me a PM to confirm and I'll send you the payment info. I perfer paypal but can do money orders and whatnot if you really wish!

So these will come with pre-war correct grips AND lanyard rings in the kits? Cause if so, I might be saving my pennies :)

NELS, paint is being taken care of. :D

Basically I got duracoat gun blue. But unfortunately it's too blue and satin finish. So I'm heading out go get some gloss black to mix. I did one up in the gun blue just to show though. Will post pics in a couple hours when I get home to a camera.

Arizona... Yes correct pre war grips, distressed even with a peice missing showing the frame on the left grip. IN the redish brown colour. Or black if you perfer. And the lanyards are exact copies of the original. ;)

Pics in 2 hours.

New pics. The colour looks better at home light, but at the shop it's a little more blue. Anyways I will be having it a bit more glossy. Also the distressing is really hardcore. I won't do it that much unless requested, but still. And it was a quick 10 minute job. I was suprised some of the trademarks came out considering I filled them with clay!

And the yoke and extractor look bent and warped for some reason. They won't be like that for the models that go out. ;)

Well I was planning on doing the chip and distressing on the grips too. :P But fine if you guys want to. lol.

Every time I see those pics of the screen used, I just can't tell about the frame colour. It appears to be not as glossy and as shiney as the barrel and cylinder. But in certain screen caps it's quite blued throughout, but in the pics from Desi, it's a tad more used. Hmmmm well we'll see. I guess if you want more metal colour then you can distress it more. I'll be darkening the silver undercoat more than the one pictured.

This may be because the barrel was replaced before filming and these pics from Desi are just a bit more well lit and detailed. Not sure about the cylinder but perhaps Lee Keppler may know. He's the overall authority on this gun. Then again, there's also Jack Devore.

OK URGENT.
Does anyone live anywhere near Glenside, PA???

My shippment of lanyard rings didn't get sent and I have cancelled that order because the seller was being a tool.

I have another supplier but he won't ship to Canada. Which I have no idea why, it's not hard to get the extra stamp. Anywho, I was seeing if I could have someone order them for me, I'll pay with paypal the amount needed, and once they arrive ship them up?? OR if you could pick them up and drop them in the post office box I'll make it worth your while!

Thanks!
