The SA Collar needs more than soaking

Post by PLATON »

Just wanted to give you guys a tip.
I tried this two weeks ago or so.

You may have noticed that on the film jacket, the left collar tip is rounded and the right is pointy.

You can simulate this effect by using the following drill.

Get your ironing board and plug the iron.
Take a pliers and cover the teeth with some cotton cloth. (I used and old t-shirt).

Grab the corner of the right collar and pull gently, increasing gradually while at the same time ironing towards the direction of the pull. After doing this for 3 minutes, the collar is ready.

Be careful not to rip the thing off, i.e. don't pull too hard.

It will work on a lamb jacket.

Result is great, I will show you pics when I am able.

(OK maybe this should go under the distressing section)
