Jimmy Pierce Hat?

Post by iepson »

i just got myself a raiders' jacket from wested and realized i now need a good hat to go with it. i want a hat very similar to the one in raiders but it needs to be affordable. i found a hatter - Jimmy Pierce and didn't know if any one has personally viewed his work.

if anyone can tell me the quality is good, i know the price is alright and would like to get one. i just don't want to order it and it turn out to be trash.

If you read through the forums and do a basic search, you'll find a ton of info on him, especially since he's a vendor here. Do some basic homework and you'll find what you're looking for! Welcome aboard!

It's always okay to ask questions, but you'll notice the search button at the top of the menu bar. With that, along with just reading through the sections, you're likely to find the answers to many of the questions you'll have about the gear. We're pretty friendly folks, but there's a LOT of good info already around here!

Varied opinions regarding that question. Jimmy recently advised me of a "turn around" time of approximately 45 days.

Wait time for one of Jimmy's hats is now about one month - as of yesterday. I know because I asked him and that's what he said.

Warning: Club Obi Wan has been proven in certain studies to be highly addictive. Prolonged Exposure to Club Obi Wan may also cause listlessness, empty wallet and, in some cases, a bizarre tendency to randomly shout out quotes from certain adventure movies that has baffled experts in all fields.
How's that? :junior: -IJ

Consult your spouse before joining Club Obi Wan. Men with pregnant wives or children about to enter college should not use Club Obi Wan.

Yours is good! I like it!

Iep: Review my recent JPD post. The hat I received, is excellent.

(Hats in my possession: PB, Akubra, Stetson; awaiting an AB, and the return of a Camptown).

And to combine the two, neither should people with children about to enter college since $40K college bills tend to exclude the purchase of $350 hats.

If history teaches us anything; at least double whatever Jimmy said. Sorry, just being honest and observant.

JPD hat is a little bit more tapered than an Adventrbuilt and the with the - brim make sure you specify a non-cut brim as he is a little stingy - If I could do it over again I would ask for a 3" brim.
