Any chance for a modified "Adventure Satchel"?

Bags, Boots, Shirts and all other gear should be discussed here.

Any chance for a modified "Adventure Satchel"?

I know Magnoli makes a version of that famous bag...but would a "messenger bag" version be cool – big enough to hold spirals, notebooks etc? Just curious if anyone else had this idea.

When I get my Magnoli bag I'm going to take out the center divider so that it has a full width large pocket.

It'd be cool to do one that can hold a laptop.

It kind of depends what you want out of your bag. I have a repro bag without the center divider, but I use my original bags with the divider because it compartmentalizes my stuff better for me and keeps things from shifting around when I don't want them too. If you had a bag for a laptop, you'd probably want a wider and more comfortable strap to distribute the weight of it better, otherwise, it may lop off your arm!

The center divider, is "just right" for separating two bottles of wine. Or so, my wife continues to say.

Actually Bink, if you had a leather strap with a shoulder slider also made of leather to distribute the weight it would not look out of place...alternately you are right, a 2 inch leather strap would also work fine.

I think someone else hit on my idea - a true messenger bag with longer dimensions to hold something laptop shaped - a real mod of the pattern, not just inside.
