not a chance.....at least thats what they told me....even offered more greenbacks but they were quite adament in keeping the design the same. (i think _ threatened them with going medeivil (sp?) on their a's if they changed any of the specs)
But is it just the scale of the pockets that people have noticed discrepancies on? Or is it also details such as the shape of the flaps? I don't know - I'm just curious.
I've noticed such a large difference in shape and size of flaps and pockets in photos that I can hardly believe it is down to jacket sizes, but _ knows this stuff inside out, so he must be right. I'll try and dig out some photos and show you all later.
It comes down to who is doing the cutting on the pattern. I actually visited G&B once...all craftpersons sitting, cutting , sewing. Quite an operation.
I know this probably doesn't help with your particular but G&B will still do a custom fitted jacket for you at least which most people dont seem to be aware of (although it'll be an extra $150 if memory serves me correctly).

Same here. I had a custom Stargate SG-1 G-8 WEP jacket made at the Flightsuits factory before they changed to G&B. I ended up visiting the factory four times and got to meet most of the staff. I was going to supply my own OD cotton rip-stop fabric, but they said it had to be a certain width and length to fit on their machines.
After deciding on their fabic, I got a tour of the jacket production area as well as the flight helmet build up section. (I'm also into flight gear and wear a HGU-33 for a motorcycle helmet on the military base.)
I tried on around 15 Expedition jackets, plus most of the other styles in the showroom. Each Expedition fit a bit differently on my frame, but I'm talking small differences
There are machines and human hands that build the coats, so you will get some variances.
