Steve Delk is a Jerk (READ THIS POST)
Now that I have you attention -
I would like to take this opportunity and express my apprecitation for Steve Delk.
This is a man who came from among us and truly improved this hobby.
I believe that if not for Steve and his great dedication to the perfect Indy fedora that we would be looking at a sub-par fedora on HF's head in the next great flick.
Steve - here's to you (and Marc)! Thank-you for stepping up and ensuring that the great tradition of our's continues into the new millenium!

Here, here I second that.
Steve and Marc have done more for the Indy Fedora than anyone else.
You can't see me, but I'm standing up. (I'd be aplauding, but I'm to busy two finger typing)
Thanks guys. I get so many compliments and some people can take one look and no this anin't no cheap nock off.

Thank you, Steve!

I was thinking of doing a whole lot worse than that and I wouldn't need any help holding him down. I was first like this and then  .
.......but I do agree with you statement about Steve. He has done a great deal for all. I'm much better now and I'm more like this. I will leave now and have a couple of drinks so I can be like this

Gentlemen, everyone knows that if anyone insulted Steve for real, they'd be dragged out in the street and shot with a Webley Mk6.
Well, what can I say about Steve Delk that already hasn't been said?
All my Indygear sits on a chair and an Ark crate and the Adventurebilt fedora sits on the top, a toy snake coiled up underneath.
From time to time, I walk past the gear and the hat looks like it came off of the set of Raiders.
Steve, thank you providing us with the most screen accurate fedora that I have ever seen. Marc, thank you also for everything you have done. We appreciate it.

The following is a quote from Steve found in 3thoubucks's link: http://indyfan.dnsalias.com/vault/forum ... 43134.html
Steve's "eureka!" moment perhaps?I knocked out one of my front teeth and got a pretty good bump on the head

Yes, Steve is truly a super guy as well as a great hatter. When I was very new to the hobby, I ordered a ribbon from Steve. While I am sure he was not near as busy back then, I always appreciated the customer service he provided on such a small order. Now, like everyone else I am awaiting my AB. Thanks for everything Steve!!

Amen Brother! I've had the pleasure of talking to Steve a couple of times not just about the hobby but the world we live in and life in general and found him to be more than just a great asset to all of us here, but an honest, warm and carring person to boot.BendingOak wrote:Steve, I'm so glade you came into the thread my friend. Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie, but first found out about AB from reading this site. I placed an order for my first AB fedora just a month ago, and found out on that day that Steve and Marc had been chosen to make the hats for the new film.
Even before knowing this, what made me want to order an AB fedora was what I had read here about them. One thing was clear: these two men really take pride in doing good work. The couple of emails Steve and I have exchanged about my fedora order also show what a nice guy he is.
So I just wanted to add my congratulations to Steve and Marc. When that fedora arrives, I'll wear it knowing not only was it made by one of the team who made the hats for the new film, but also that it was made by someone who really takes pride in making a good hat.
