White stuff coming out of my whip? (Large pic)

Well, I've got a issue.
On my IOAB sides, there is something white coming out of it. It is like glue, because it's sticky.

Does anybody have an idea what it is, and what I can do to make it disappear?

Looks like the plaiting soap I use when I put the whip together. Nothing to worry about; it should just wipe off.

Rub in a coat of Pecards or some other leather dressing on the whip and you should be okay.
