Gibson and Barnes price hike

Post by ztmario »

For anyone who's planning on getting an expedition in the near future.. technically, the price on the goatskin has gone up to $450 from $408. I don't know about the lambskin, but I'm sure it's somewhere around $475. these are the official prices as of now, but they haven't updated their website yet and they're still honoring those. so I would suggest buying your jacket before they change the prices online and it goes up %10.

No doubt. Their 'new' website has been under construction for what seems like over a year or more!
Hmm, now where have I heard that one before? 8)

All true, but that said, I'll certainly vouch for the TOP QUALITY of their products. (I did't mean to bash GB.) The GB Expo is definately a first rate Indy Jacket in my book!!

well, all I can say to that is I got them to honor the internet price. I can't see how they wouldn't... they're a great company with great reps, but it's pretty irresponsible to advertise prices that are wrong. and it doesn't take long at all to jump on there and edit the text.. it's not like they're advertising with fancy graphics, just type in new numbers.

Good for you - they should honor their web prices. It's up to them to keep current.

The website shows the standard lamb and goat but does anyone know if you can get the Expo in horsehide? Perhaps at an additional charge (duh!) but I was wondering if it's an option?
