Crease Crease Go Away!

Post by Shorty »

Hey all!

I just got a care package from Noel Howard with my indy shirt and pants today, and I couldn't be happier. I put on the pants however, and I realized that I have no idea how to get rid of the creases that run from the top to the bottom of each leg. I don't want to get rid of the pleats mind you, just the creases. I searched but couldn't find anything relevant. Any suggestions? Or will they just go away if I wear them enough? :?

You may also try steaming the crese out. That can help with "sensitive" fabrics.

You've never worn pants that have been pressed like that before?

Yeah, mate, the crease will just fall out through wear.

Take them to the dry cleaner and tell them to press them without creases. Do not wash them. Or just press them yourself if you have an iron and use a high steam setting.

The day after I got my NH pants I had a dry cleaner press the crease out. Gone.Never to be seen again. :D

Yes the NH pants are DRY CLEAN only. If they dry cleaner's can't get the creases out all the way, you can use a hot iron a little bit too, just be VERY CAREFUL not to burn the fabric.

Yeah, the pants are dry clean only. Take them to the dry cleaners and ask to have the creases pressed out. I think they call it a round press.
