Post what you have uncovered, but don't present it as "fact" or the "final word" which I know was your goal in researching this, to get to the truth.
You've been told certain things by certain people, some of which may contradict each other.
I think the TOD jacket is a classic case in point -- I've seen the Bermans and Nathans labelled "Raiders II"/TOD jacket, I am not sure where it was made or if it was screen used, but I know I've seen it.
While I also believe the people with screen credit deserve a lot of respect, as you know in business there are people that take care of the details. Noel Howard for example may have been seen as the bookkeeper, but there is no doubt if you meet him and talk to him that he has a lot of experience with costumes for film and TV productions.
All of what you have uncovered is part of the overall picture. I think if you present what you have uncovered, it is best to let people draw their own conclusions, which back to the TOD example may be "we'll never know".
Pre-announcement for Indy 4 Jacket and a bit of a quandry..

On the subject of Peter, I have enjoyed visiting with him immensely, and while I've obviously heard his side of the story, I'd like to hear another side and draw my own conclusions from that. I realize if you have 5 other people that contradict what he says that it might make him seem like a liar, but many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view._ wrote:...or Peter could pick up his phone?

I can tell you guys that Todd has indeed done a LOT of research on this and that he really means it when he says he's got documented proof to support most of the information he's presented, or has yet to publically present, regarding the jackets for the Indy movies. He really has been striving to hear all sides of the story and to talk with as many of the "top men (and women)" who were directly involved with the jackets and the films. As fans dedicated to the gear and props of Indiana Jones, we all ultimately want to know the truth behind the gear, and as a website dedicated to that gear, IndyGear hopes to present all the factual information we can gain access to.
While there has been much heated debate regarding the jackets in the past, this will not be another thread which turns into a bunch of yelling and screaming as to who is right and who is wrong. Rather, since Todd is asking and hoping to have a direct dialogue with Peter regarding jacket history, I will leave this thread visible so that Peter may see this and hopefully contact Todd directly, but I see no reason for it to be discussed any further in this thread. For that reason, I'm going to lock this down so it cannot get out of hand.
