Dan,

As far as hurting yourself goes (avoiding the hurt, rather), it helps to wear glasses, a wide-brimmed hat, a long-sleeved shirt and long pants when practicing with a whip. I know my practice hat has taken a lot of hits. I've knocked the glasses off my face a couple of times, as well  . (I'd say that's better than knocking an eye-ball out of my head bone 8) )

Good luck, and happy cracking!

Great whip man ! For what its worth my first Camptown took a direct whip hit and saved my poor noodle big time a few years ago. They are even whip resistant ! :)

Enjoy !

Thank you Canyon,

I actually had a light pop the first time then wrapped it around me a few times.

#3 son got a really good crack the first time, then was a hit or miss. the last one the whip came back and got him in the ah....zipper

I plan on going to the whip cracking at the Queen and see if I can get some help. Might have #3 son [MUTT 8) ] join in as well.
