New Wested

Post by LJHood »

I jsut received my first Wested today. It is truly beautiful. The only problem is, it is too small in the chest and shoulders. If I return it to Peter, will he make a whole new one or can he modify it as is? Also, does any one know if I will have to wait another 4 weeks for him to do it, or will it be done on an expedited basis? Thanks.

It depends. If it was based on your supplied measurements and they were just wrong, you'll probably go to the end of the line. If it's a mistake on their part, he'll more than likely expedite the order, but it's entirely his call of course. Regards. Michaelson

Thanks. I will just have to email him and tell him what the story is. He's a good chap though for doing all that he does for us. By the way, I thought the quality of the jacket was absolutely awesome.

Well, my goatskin jacket was way too short and I thought it was a mistake they made but he later told me that it was mine mistake. But that doesn't matter I think, he made me a complete new one. He did forget the put in the extra inside pocket and the press studs on them but heck, it doesn't bother me too much.
He's a great guy and so many more!

I was told by Peter that all returns for alterations, or even if a new jacket needs to be cut, go the front of the line. Simply becuase they dont want them hanging around in case of a mix up. When mine finally skipped its way across the pond, it was shipped back out after two weeks.

Cheers
