Just Ordered my first Raiders Jacket from Todds Costumes
Hi folks,
I've spent much of the last several weeks lurking and soaking up as much jacket knowledge as I could from this forum.
I've pored over the various debates, and examined pictures carefully, and finally decided that I wanted my first Raiders Jacket to come from Todds Costumes.
I ordered it in the lambskin, and can hardly wait for the next few weeks to pass!
Thanks for your responsiveness to my questions Todd, and thanks especially to all of you in the forum who act as an information resource to those of us who aren't always vocal about it!

Great news! I'm sure it'll have been worth all the wait once I've got it!Puppetboy wrote:We are back at work on jackets, and since there are only a few of you waiting, we should have them all caught up in the next few weeks.
Thanks for waiting!

I will. By the time it gets here, I should have my Akubra Federation. If I ever get my care package from my mother, it's got my LL Bean pants in it. Then I'll have a complete "close enough" outfit!indy89 wrote:Make sure you post some pics

Still got a week to wait on mine, based on Todds original estimate. Please post pics as soon as you get it...it's the next best thing to holding my own in my hand!
I also shipped my old Optimo off to Chicago this week to get the full restoration...it'd seen a LOT of abuse in the last few years. If I have any kind of luck at all, I'm hoping it'll get here around the same time as the jacket.
*can hardly contain myself*

Lorn,
Sorry for the slow response. We've been really busy and I try to stay off the computer and in the shop.
Dr. Seuss, I think yours just went out a few days ago. Lorn, hang in there. We're getting then out slowly. We've had to bump our indy jacket schedule to do a few others - a custom Fonzie jacket replica for an event with Henry Winkler and a giant bomber jacket for a lizard walk-around. We'll be finished with those early next week and back to indy jackets.
