Todd's deluxe bag strap

Post by RichardSK »

Just received my new strap from Todd and I have to say that it is great. The one that I bought a little over a year ago was quite disapointing. I can't recommend this one enough. The color and quality of leather is perfect. The mistake that I made was also buying his SA buckle not realizing that this one was on the new strap. For $5 I'm not going to worry about it. I'll either put on my other bag or resell it.

Now I'm even more excited for mine to arrive on Monday. I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago, but Todd forgot to ship it until yesterday. But at least I know it's coming now! What length did you get? My current strap was supposed to be 65", but was about 1'6" short. So I guess my question is if it fits right for the average joe. :?

As I am over 6'2", I need the long strap for proper buckle placement.

Yeah, I like Todd's straps, both for quality and the 72" option. Best of all - not dye transfer onto my expensive Indy shirt! :D

I might have to look into this because mine is a lil short (I am tall).

Nice to read the rec. I had pretty much decided to go with Todd's for my 'new' MK VII.

I got mine about 3 weeks ago and it's great. It took me about a day to wear it in, since it was... well "new". Enjoy. :D

Dont really understand this?
I have just ordered the exact same items, but before doing so I emailed Todd's and asked if the DeLuxe strap came with the SA buckle. He answered that the buckle on the DL strap was NOT the same as the SA buckle that had to be ordered separately...

Who's right?

The deluxe strap does come with my custom made buckle, the same one I sell separately. I'm sorry for the mis-information. I will inform my staff on this so they all know.

IndyK, why don't you e-mail us and we'll work out a refund for you.
