Aldens and jeans
Back at the old COW, there was a thread on whether the Aldens go with jeans or not. Here's a pic to show that they do, provided the jeans are of bootcut type.
Just to let you know I'm back and put some mileage on this new account

Those look like the new color. : I'll explain. When you first get the the pair, they look very much like the ones on the IndyGear site.
After a little wear, I put Pecards dressing on them and they darkened to a brick red color.
You can see the scuff on the right toe of the actual shoe color versus the "treated" color. I just put another coat on to cover up some new scuffs and they are great. Maybe not screen accurate but really nice shoes.

I bought them in Poland (the laces).
I forgot to mention that the boots themselves are 2 years old now. As Pyro noticed, they were the new lighter color initially. What you see in the pic is what they look like in between leather dressing applications. They get darker when treated.
Hey Sergei, is there a place online where I can get nice bootcut western-style jeans?

I wear mine with jeans all the time when I want to be "casual." Boot cut. Breaks just like the picture up top. Some of them are a little "distressed" too. Fraying with strings hanging out. They look great with a well-worn pair of 405s. Leather boots and jeans are a classic look, going way back before any of us were around.

I wear my Aldens/Levi's often and I think they look fine. When you first get your Aldens the shoe color tends to stick out at you, while wearing jeans or khakis, but after a bit of polish and pecards they look fine with jeans.
Polish and Pecards... A new mantra?
TOJ, I like the boot cut jeans with those, I have to try that. I wear Levis 550's with mine.

RABBITOOTH: i UNDERSTAND YOUR RESERVATION BUT IT CAN BE DONE RIGHT : .....
Diesel makes a distressed blue jean that you can get in a straight leg and even a boot flare (called Ravix). The particular blue hue and the color of the "dirty" wash makes a marvellous match for a worn pair of 405's
Picking up my brother at the airport....he was sporting an untucked indy-style shirt (snug and sleeves rolled) with a leather necklace, cool brown tinted shades, those way cool jeans, and a pair of beaten-up aldens....he looked like a darn movie star..
(I meant to say ####, but it won't let me say ####. ####. Double ####. Damnation. There.
