it looks like a smaller crowned federation....which it probably is. i think it looks quite nice myself and could possibly be a great TOD fedora. perhaps i'll wait for some more news on this. how's the colour look.....is it a fed dlx brown or more like a reg fed browny/grey?

I believe this may be the one DM selling now as the 'Adventurer', but a different ribbon. That sure isn't a Federation.

I've owned one of these Akubra 'Fedoras'. They're nice hats. Soft felt, and look more like the photo in the first post than the one in the HatsDirect advertisement.

I think it's most likely an Akubra Squatter with a dimensional brim and no air vents. Certainly looks very similar to the Squatter on Morgan's hat page.

Yes - what I mean is, it's possibly a modified Squater. same basic hat but made for Morgan without air vents and with a raw edged, dimensional brim.

Could be a modified Squatter. Who knows? I'm more a fan of the Bushman, though.

I've seen a Squatter in person. Trust me, that's no Squatter! The crown it too tall. Squatters have a short crown. It may be a modified something else, though. Or a taller hat on the Squatter block shape.
