I send a copy of the whole DVD out with every whip I make for free Russ. I know a lot of people who buy whips are not all that experienced with them so I decided long ago to make this video to send with the whips. With each whip I send I include a numbered certificate,3 spare falls and 10 spare crackers along with the DVD on the cover of which I place a photo of the customers whip. Once everything is set up on my computer it doesn't take much to do this and I think adds a nice personal touch. With the price of DVD media so low it's not expensive and just takes a few minutes of my time.

Amazing Bernie, It's always good to see when the person who taught me how to make whips continues to share is wealth of knowledge. I do have to agree with you in the fact that the people that usually buy whips are not that experienced and have no clue how to use them safely. I to am working on putting out a video on how to make my nylon whips and possibly leather, along with more information on how to safely use and maintain them. Each day I strive to be more like you in your great whip making quest. Best of wishes and thanks again for teaching me the craft of making great quality whips. James Emery

I have a 10' too and the overhead does seem more like a reliable way to get a crack.Rook wrote:GREAT video! I have a 10' whip, and the only method I "knew" how to do was the overhead swing. Now I have a few new techniques to try.
Do you plan on selling the dvd/video?
Russ
Great video Bernie!!!
I need to learn to keep that plane it moves in away from my head. I knocked my face shield off my head last weekend. Going to switch to a helmet.
