New 8 foot Morgan Style Indy Whip

Post by midwestwhips »

I just finished up an 8 foot Indy whip, David Morgan style. I thought I would share some pictures with you all.

Below are a couple pictures comparing the whip to my 8 year old Morgan whip. You can see some of the differences. I made my whip with a slightly larger butt knot, and the transition knot is at 8 inches. Also I didn't cut the strands quite so wide as Morgan does.

Thanks everyone! It was a fun whip to make.

I was going to post that it was for sale in the Classified section, but I had a buyer within about 10 minutes of posting it in the Cairo Bizzarre!
