what made you choose the 6' length? i'm just curious as 8' and 10' are the norms around indy-dom. i hear with a 6' whip you can get some really great multiple cracks going.

I spend the day sitting in a power wheelchair and I wanted to start with a whip that I could crack from the chair, most of the people here suggested the 6ft for seated whipping to start. I am go up to 8 or 9ft later and anybody more than 6 feet away I can out ah...run as it were

as for the on a budget whip, until I can justify a very expensive whip.....

The IOAB whip is a great whip. One of the easier ones to crack... and kinda purdy, too.

Yup. I know the feeling. I've been waiting a month already for my 8-plait cowhide whip and got another month to go.

And then 4ish more for my AB.
