Gray Camptown

Post by Indycop »

I ordered a gray camptown this week. I believe it is the metropolitan but will be done in the fieldmaster style. I was wondering if anyone has this setup and possibly any pictures.
Thanks, ahead of time.

Looks good! Do the gray ones take the same abuse as the brown?

So far so good. I try to "beat" it up once or twice a week to soften it. Looks good. I need to post new pictures someday..... :?

Dan did you order it 1945 style or with a centerdent? I am hoping mine will look basically like a raiders but gray. I'm saving the the 1945 model for when I can get a black one.

I had ordered mine with the center dent & dimensional cut on the brim. I way too many with the c crown so the center dent is the best option with this hat. I'll most likely go with the center dent as well with Ken's "Noir" model as well.

Cheers!

Hopefully he will have pics soon of the black one. I want to have a grey and a black to go with my brown. Then it will be time to order an AB.

From what I hear the "Noir" Camptown Metropolitan should be coming soon within the next month or so. You may want to e-mail Ken and ask him when it will show up. If there is enough interest early on he might be able to get some out there soon. Let's hope for the best and we'll see what kind of beauty it is. Personally, if it's anything like the Fieldmaster or the Metropolitan, I think it's going to be a very sharp versatile hat to have.

Cheers!

I'm thinking NOIR in the fieldmaster style! I will definitely be interested in that one.
Plus I'm going to SWAT school in oct. At the end of the school (if you make it to the end) they do a group photo. There are the usual assortment of no hats , boonie hats and ball caps. I am thinking I could be the first in black gear with black indy style fedora!
