Wested jacket sizing

Post by olflea »

Hello Everyone,

I am very new on this site, and I have been scouting this forum, and I notice that you guys have a good opinion in most cases, whatever the subject ishave a question maybe you guys could help me out a little....

I am buying myself a wested jacket (and it's my first time).
I have measured myself like it says on their page, but still I am having a problem. I am not sure what "size" I am supposed to have, I usually use L-XL in jackets, but I am not sure how I should write this to them. I tested the only clothing I have in my house that says anything about size in European, and that was 50-52, but that was just a little to small, does this maybe mean I should go for "size 53 regular" or "size 54 regular"? How big is the difference?

I hope you understand my problem,
And thanks a lot for any help or tips you give! :D

Be very careful! State what units you are using. European "size" is not inches!! A "Size 52" is actually a 42 inch chest!

Give them all your measures and ask them to tell you what size it is. Don't worry too much what the label says either!! :)

Custom sized, it's a whole different ball game.

Welcome aboard! :)
