Well, there are some major differences, but they're nice boots either way, and if they fit, and are comfortable, I'd suggest not passing them up for something better, just for screen accuracy. But I must ask... is the bathroom the best place you could come up with for pictures?
You can get a can of brown shoe polish from wal-mart and go over them. It will darken the threads a little. Or you could just get a black felt tip pen and go over the stitching. Just wipe it off the leather if you get it on it.
I've done this with a lot of boots I've owned through the years. Nothing screams new boots than ultra white stitching.
Mind you, I am not responsible for any harm, damage, or mental anguish cause by my suggestions.
The only problem I see, besides the uber-white stitching which plagues all new boots, is the vertical stitching on the toe. I would take extra care to darken that up so its not noticeable, but leave the rest a little lighter. Look good, and if they're comfortable go for it.
