Does anybody know if the inside pocket(s) of a leather jacket (Flightsuits, Todd's, Wested, etc) is part of the jacket itself, or if it is actually part of the lining? Or is it part of both?
Meaning if you took out the lining of a jacket, would the inside pocket(s) still be on the jacket, or would that come off with the lining as well?
Always wondered about that, since I thought some people had previously mentioned that keeping heavy objects in their inner pockets caused the jacket to deform.
I know if you hang certain jackets like lambskin it will form indentations on the shoulders (stretching the leather?). Maybe its the same if you carry something heavy and/or bulky in the inside pocket of a lambskin.
