Just ordered Todd's Deluxe gunbelt

Post by McFly »

Any good reviews? About how long does shipping take to get to other places in CA?

I also got a hatbrush from him - but I'm pretty sure there aren't many reviews about that here. I'm looking forward to getting this stuff. I had tried to contact Artsee1 to buy... something else. But he never got back to me so I saved $60 and got the gunbelt and hatbrush.

I think I made a better choice going with this stuff. :)

Shane,

Artsee is hard to contact because he has this spam defender thingy,
I needed to approve that to get a hold of him.

I got the budget gunbelt 1st then a month later the deluxe.

Both are good looking belts, but the deluxe has the lasting quality. When I got mine it was a bit stiff and rough on the back. This is because it is tooling leather, so to soften it up I put some Pecards on it. Now it feels great!

Pretty disappointed really... the buckle has a bunch of little nicks in it, the back has 2 slices in it (one goes nearly halfway through the belt), and it's too small. I ordered according to my pants size, and that's about all it will fit...! If I wanted it to hang a little below my web belt, I'd have to order one size up. I've contacted Todd though, and we'll see what happens. I don't think it's worth $30.

The hat brush I got is nice though.

Yeah, that sounded odd to begin with...their customer service is usually very good, and they usually size up the gunbelts too, you just tell them what size you normally wear. Hunh. Good quick resolution, though, thanks for the feedback, McFly. ;)

Sorry to hear Your bad experience with the gunbelt mentioned. I have bought gunbelts from most vendors about now, and Your story only proves what I have learned myself: You get what You pay for.

My personal fovourite is - off course - Noel Howards. It's beyond comparising with any other products, and it also happens to be the original. Worth every dime... or penny.

The second best was my own production ( I have to say that...) but they are now discontinued because.... JEEP, where are You?

Okay, Adventurebilt have something up their sleeve and we hope to see some quality stuff from them soon :-)

Cheers
