My introduction

Post by Jamie_H »

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time registerer. I was trying to recall when I started lurking..think I found Micah and indyfan first...and I recall _ and his FS jacket beginnings, and emailing Michaelson a time or two....anyways, I just purchased the Magnoli Indy bag last week. My first piece of gear. Hope it arrives soon, as I can't wait!. I also grabbed a couple of Indy inspired shirts from old navy. One long sleeve that I've seen others here post, and a short sleeve version came in today:

I have relatives in Fort Worth I visit every so often, so I will try to make a trip to Peter Bros and get a hat fitted while I am there. It seems the hat would be the toughest part of the outfit for me to pull off, but I'm probably being self conscious. Anyways, enough rambling, and thanks again for all the insightful posts by everyone.

Hey there, good to see a fellow resident of the great state of Louisiana. Perhaps a Louisiana summit is on the horizon? My family is also based in Fort Worth, and I promise you good service when you visit Peters Bros. I bought a black pork pie hat there once, and they are a great company. Welcome aboard, there have been several new guys around, which is always nice to see. Have fun poking around.

I was just looking at that shirt on the store's online site. I didn't see the long sleeve version. I'll need to check again. :)

Thanks for the welcome guys. Glad to know I'm not the only Indy nut in Louisiana! And as far as the shirts go, I got the short sleeved version online (I think its called the utility shirt), they didn't have the long sleeve. I lucked out and found a long sleeve version on sale in the store this past week. I picked it up for 8 bucks I think. I was in Memphis this past weekend, found a J. Crew, hoping to find some boots..no luck. Oh well..the search continues...

Welcome to COW, Jerry!

Oh, and Browncoat and Jamie_H!

Nice shirt! Do they have them in lighter colors? I'll go take a look... it does look pretty cool. May have to get one... I do have a gift card.
