Well, neither can I. That's while I settled for the Sketchers. I have never been able to bring myself to buying any pair of shoes or boots that were over $100. Shoes and boots are just to easy to get messed up and I'd rather spend a lot less and still get a comfortable shoe or boot. A lot of the time when shoes or boots get that expensive it's because your paying for the name.

Carolina Boots Alden lookalike

Post by churchman73 »

Has there been any new development on the Carolina Boots talk of producing the Alden lookalike? I haven't heard anything for a a long while now. I'd really like to pick up a pair, but I'm tired of waiting.

I'm afraid that this is a dead horse.

I have received no replies to my last three attempts to email Carolina and recommend that you get what you can from the Ebay sellers on the Huskers.

I will phone the company this week and see if they answer me.

After getting the runaround and rerouted to FOUR additional phone numbers,

I found out that Greg Crouchley and Luke Sessa are in Las Vegas for a convention and won't be back until the week of of August 6th.

They won't give me Greg's number (the one listed in his emails do not go the state he works in) but they did give me a number where the receptionist thinks Luke Sessa may be at.

I wish I could say "nice bump, churchman" but as I had missed this thread before, I read it with excited anticipation only to be let down. I'm bummin' yet this has been going on for a year and a half now. They could have made some money off of us gearheads and then captialized off of the new movie. Oh well.

Funny thing is- I told them that the new movie was coming out over a year ago and they should gear up for production. They said they were gonna set up a special "Indy Boot" website way before filming was even started. Guess they were just telling me what I wanted to hear.......

They still have my contact information, but since I've been stonewalled for a year, I'm not going to pursue these guys.

I'd just recommend buying a pair from Magnoli. May be more expensive, but he has the customer service thing down pat.
