ECWhips Masterpeice: UPDATED PICS!!!

Post by Bogie1943 »

Hey gang, well thursday of last week I finally received my 8ft Indy bullwhip from Jim at ECWhips. I have to say that Jim did a wonderful job creating this fine bullwhip. It is everything I had hoped for and more. It cracks great, the one time I got to crack it. The weather here has been horrible since Thursday night, snowing and raining everyday since then. So sadly I have not been able to crack it but a few times Thursday evening. But I love it to death, I would like to thank Jim once more for doing a fine job, I may be buying another whip from you in the near future, perhaps a 10 footer, but that will be after I get my FS! I will post some pics soon!

Ha ha! That's okay, I 'm lousy with names too, so I know how you feel. Glad you like the whip, though!

Best regards,

Congrats Josh! Hopefully you will get a break in the weather so that you can get a chance to crack it. Jim, the whip looks just fine. Taper is nice and even all the way down to the tip, the laces are tapered evenly and the seams that I can see are straight.

Thats great! I hope mine looks that nice. Too bad the weather is so bad, I know how you feel though yesterday is was 5 out up here and that was the high, thankfully we didn't get any of that snow. Have fun with it once the weather clears up.

Nice gear you have there! I'm glad your whip suits you. May it age to
an excellent mahogany Josh! Practice, practice , practice.

Ah it is Saturday and the sun is peaking through the clouds, the ground is still a little wet but what the heck I have to take this thing out, I just got more leather conditioner and water proofer, hey water proof the old whip a bad idea!

Very nice whip. I swear, if I didn't know better I'd think that was a David Morgan. The whipmaker who crafted that one got the handle knob down.

I agree with Whipwarrior. That looks EXACTLY like my DM. I imagine this has been covered in the past, but for us newbies...what, if any, are the differences between ECWhips, and the DM?
