Thanks for the link! I just ordered mine in 10.5M. That's around my normal boot size, so I hope they fit! Haha

I just picked up a pair. They're great close-enoughs. I wish the color was a little darker though.

Well, once you break them in and wear them out hiking they color does darken some and the sole of the boots fade as well. Getting them dirty really helps. :D

They are probably the best "close enough" boots that money can buy (at these prices)! I can't wait to get mine.

Yeah, the regular run of Huskers weren't even this cheap. Of course if your lucky enough to find them on that certain "auction site" and they have your size you could get them cheaper than these, but that's IF you can find them. :D

They are indeed fairly good shoes for the price. I bought mine about six months ago and then realized they're nice close-enoughs too!

Biggest pros: if you put some pecards on them and then lightly polish (brown kiwi stuff), they darken up nicely. As in, mine turned the same 'chocolate' color as the ever-coveted '80's Aldens...
Also the soles, while too 'bendable' to provide good support for any really long journey, are pretty tough and don't wear down too quickly, which is nice.

Biggest cons: See that fake plastic welt? There's a reason real welts aren't made from plastic. After six very rough-and-tumble months in these shoes, they've just about had it. Cracks running all over the plastic welts and the 'cement construction' soles are coming loose where the shoes bend when I step. And the leather gets torn more easily than other leather shoes I've had, but I suppose some people actually want that to happen...

Heck, at this price if you like em you could buy two pair. Or wait and get some Redwings (no that's not a plug at all  ). Just be sensible and know what you're getting/not getting in a bargain buy like this--they should be just fine for those of you who mostly explore the urban jungle...hence the name "Traffic"!

Just got my boots! Fit like a glove and very comfortable! The right boot is slightly lighter in color than the left one, but it probably won't be noticable outside. I'll try to take some pics later this week and post 'em.
