Well I just got my Federation #2, this time around I ordered it in the tawny fawn color. I have to say when I first pulled the hat out of the box it was a bit lighter then I expected however it grew on me quite fast. Its amazing how the color seems to change in different lighting. When I get a chance I'll take some pics of it next to my mid brown Fed and my AB. I decided that this time around I'm going to try a different bash and make something a bit closer the Alan Grants hat in Jurassic Park 3 (although with a taller crown and not the mossy colored felt).
This actually came just in time as I leave for vacation on Thursday night and I'm heading up to Gig Harbor to work a trial and I'll be hiking some trails with my dog. We'll see how naturally distressed it becomes over the weekend
