That's where I bought my 1908s back then:
https://www.2bif.de/shop/articles.php?m ... 1&label=22
1908s are not listed any more but maybe its worth to drop them a message:
https://www.2bif.de/shop/kontakt.php

These guys can definitely deliver 1908s:
http://www.styleselect.de/product_info. ... 1950&page=
For outside EU delivery they ask to get in contact with them (service@styleselect.de)

This one is where I bought my 1909s which are great as well. 1908s are not listed, but they can probably get them for you:
http://www.redwings.de/
(mailto:info@redwings.de)

And finally these people:
http://www.volls.de/shop/index.php
(mailto:info@volls.de)

In all cases better first get in contact with them and ask if 1908 are on stock in the required size, and if so how much delivery to US/outside EU is.

Good luck!

It looks like they have two different boots shown on this page http://www.redwings.de/
One is the 1908, is the other 1909? (no moc toe)

Anyway, looks like mine on ebay are a steal so far (around $52) if they are going for 269.00 EURO new!

yes, 1909 is none-moc-toe. But anyway a great boot, since it is a bit more "flat", more like the Aldens. ... yep they are unfortunately really expensive :-(

I wish the Redwing president would get back to "us". (in another thread) They could just base the custom boots off one of those patterns and make just a few changes and have the best close enough boot ever.

Heavy :-) Compared to the Aldens they feel like combat boots. Aldens are somehow soft and extremely comfortable from the very first moment, the RWs are real work boots. Well at least in my opinion :-)

I don't think I've heard Aldens described as light, but I wouldn't say the 1908s are any heavier than the Aldens.

At the current exchange rate, it's cheaper to buy the originals than the close-enoughs?!
