Where is the best place....
.......To buy the Shirt, Pants, and Shoes? I don't want to spend to much but at the same time it has to be Screen Accurate.

That is the problem. Screen accuracy. For the shirt: that really is the NH but it costs a pretty penny. Next best pretty much a tie between Wested and Magnoli although both are a little too dressy.IndyFan89 wrote:.......To buy the Shirt, Pants, and Shoes? For the Pants, none of them really, the pocket flaps are ok for TOD and LC on Westeds and NH, but nothing for Raiders, the Paris Pants came closest. For the price and if you are slim I'd say Westeds however if you have a waist over 34 they seem too puffy in the front rise and too narrow in the leg cuff.
Shoes, there are some look alikes around but the originals are still THE ones. Aldens.

I've got a shirt and pants in the mail right now from Magnoli. I'm not a huge stickler for the tiny details, but I'll let you know what I think. There my first custom-made pants and shirt, so I'll be looking to see the difference.
If you want close-enough pants, LL Bean carries nice dress chinos in "dark Khaki" that look fairly good.

What about WPG or Todd they look like nice shirts for the cash. I'm a bit chubby so maybe wested is out of the qeustion. NH dosen't sale Indy stuff any more according to IndyGear.com so what are my other choice's. It looks like Magnoli for the pant's and i'm not about to put 3 bills down for shoes. Awhile back i seen Indy boots for $20 on eBay. Any body else see them?
The WPG shirt as sold by Todd is not good IMHO. The sizing is HUGE- like a tent. I'm 6' tall, around 220lbs, 46" chest with a 17" neck. The WPG shirt is like a big top on me. I could fit two of me in it. It's also a very heavy material. I much prefer my Wested. I've not seen a Magnoli in the flesh but it looks nice in pictures (I'd love one in a lighter weight material).

IndyFan,
I just got my Magnoli shirt and pants. Now, as I say, I'm not a nit-picker on small details. However, I do like my gear to have a certain authentic look. Magnoli nails it!
Now, I won't say they are perfect relicas, but I don't think anyone can say they sell perfect Indy gear. But I'll tell you what I have in hand.
Pants: The pockets are in the right place, the color looks very Raiders. I chose the wool blend so they would be lighter, but the distinctive Indy drape seems to be there anyway. I've seen Wested pants once, and they do look different... They were NOT a blend, so that may be the main difference in fabric, and everybody's design is a little different.
Shirt: Yes, it is crisp and dressy... but I'm thinking that's how Indy's shirt was once. Think of it like the jacket - one day it will look like Indy's did. It's not a heavy material, but has substance. Smooth texture that won't be irritating without an undershirt.
I'm glad I decided to save up for the Magnoli clothes - especially the shirt. The fit is... well, like it was made just for me! If I can convince you of nothing else, as a fellow "big guy", get the Magnoli shirt. You won't regret it.

I went through the shirt search about two months ago. I bought a brand new wested shirt from another member here after ordering my Magnoli shirt. I figured I would sell the one I liked least. The Wested shirt was nice, but I did not like that the material was so thin, it was almost see thru IMO. The shirt did look and feel good, but I knew I would not wear it. Then the Magnoli shirt came in the mail and as I opened the package and put the shirt on I knew which shirt was going to hit the Cario bazarre and it wasn't the Magnoli. The material is very comfortable and feels and looks like the shirts I wear everyday. The best part is that you get a custom made shirt for a lesser price than the wested and bang for the buck is very important to me. And something outside the fact that the Magnoli shirt is great, dealing with Indy is as easy as it can be. He is nice and quick to respond to any questions. You really can't be great customer service along with a great product!

I would go and find a thread with pics of people wearing each item and decide for yourself.IndyFan89 wrote:So magnoli is the best for both shirt and pants!
BTW, there is a cheap alternative to Aldens but you have to dig around ebay for Carolina Boots, they are also named Huskers. Sometime you can bag a real bargain.
Here is one of my threads with some comparisons with "the real thing".

Strange. I think the Wested is about usual thickness for a shirt. Neither particularly thin nor thick. Same sort of material as most department store shirts that you might wear to the office.... Ford's shirt from Raiders and Temple looks to be of a thiner material entirely to my eye.Indiana Kev wrote:I I figured I would sell the one I liked least. If you want to go LL Bean, the most SA is the Dress Chino's with pleated front UA51846 or UA51847, depending what "fit" you like. Get them hemmed without cuffs, dark khaki in color. They look very similar to Magnoli's adventure pants, even in color, and are very comfy. They have a nice drape to them as well. I generally like LLB stuff, and these pants are my favorite from them. Killer close-enoughs, too. Well worth the $!Vitoscarlatti wrote:Can I just ask, My current budget will only stretch to some rather splendid looking LL Bean ones in dark khaki at the mo. Are they any good? and do they bear up to a decent SA? I'm just sick of wearing incorrect cargo pants with those big stupid pockets halfway down each leg.

I'm looking at these and they say they are all-cotton twill. Did you have any problem with shrinking the first time you washed them? Also, did you order them in your exact pants size? I've got my tailor measurements, but I'm not sure how these are cut.Chewbacca Jones wrote:Rook, the natural fit dress chinos are what I have, and what my last post is about. Comfortable without being overly baggy. Dark Khaki is the color you want for the Indy look. Never heard of coffee in these pants before... must be new.

I don't think they shrank, and I ordered based on my normal pants size. If in doubt, they have the "hidden comfort" versions, which have a neat elastic bit. They work pretty well, and aren't as obvious as normal elastic waists.Mountaineer Lasher wrote:I'm looking at these and they say they are all-cotton twill.
