PB Straw???

Does anybody have a Peter Brothers Straw Indy Fedora? I'd love to see some pictures and get an idea of how people like them...

Yes I have one. No I have no photos.

It's comfortable, but my only 'complaint' would be how tall the crown is on mine. Joe was supposed to get in some lower crown cones to work with last summer, so that should be fixed.

Otherwise, no complaints, and a really comfortable and good looking fedora for hot weather wear.

I am in total agreement with Mr. M. here! I love mine. Light weight and and wonderful fit. Don't know what else to tell you. Other then it seems like a really quality hat. W>

Well, here in Tennessee we had our week of Spring...then we're right into the high 80's with humidity...so yes, I guess it may as WELL be summer. \

What I still marvel at is knowing our friends in the Southern Hemisphere are just now dusting off their fur felts fedoras, shaking out their warm leather jackets and preparing for winter.

Missed this thread the first time. I phoned PB to ask about this hat just yesterday. I was curious as to the crown height. Their answer surprised me in that they bash it semi-custom. I was told to 'choose my movie' and they in turn would adjust the bash and crown height to match. I assumed that they were all the same in a standard hat. Other details can be discussed as well, such the sweat material.

Yep, that's how Joe makes them. They steam them to the exact style you request.

I'm glad they decided to go with the lower crown versions. My old version is pretty tall, but still a nice looking hat.
