New Wested Raiders arrived. HH, 80's...
Hi!
Anyone interested in pictures of my new Wested Horsehide? It's a Raiders and arrived today after wearing my old LC for almost 7-8 years every day & around the world.
Some special features:
2 inch stormflap
80's cut
sculptured pocket flaps
Large LC collar
Measurements in Centimeter:
Height: 173
Chest: 99
Sleeve: 57
If you want more pictures, even of the old an distressed jacket, write!

Nice jacket, Indiana82. That's a good Raiders fit. Did you make special requests for the pocket flaps and the extra 1/2 inch width on the stormflap? Did you have to pay for those non-standard features?
If the scultured pocket flap is a "special" feature with its own additional cost, then I'm wondering how close Peter is to making them the norm. He's got the pattern now.
Would you mind posting a close-up of the collar? Thanks.

He charged me an extra 15 pounds, but I don't know for what exactly. I also had an extra zipper for the inside pocket and as far as I can remember, Horse Hide was once an extra charge of 10 pounds. Maybe you want to ask Peter, just to be sure. Collar pictures later.
I don't know the goat skin, but Horse Hide is not realy smooth. Grainy is a good word for it, and I was actually quite suprised how grainy it was. But I like it. The feel is hard to compare to anything.

I didn't ask for anything special with my recent Wested purchase and my pocket flaps are quite sculptured- maybe a little less than these. It does seem that Peter is gradually improving on his basis designSt. Dumas wrote:If the scultured pocket flap is a "special" feature with its own additional cost, then I'm wondering how close Peter is to making them the norm. Hätte ich das geahnt. Ich hab nach laaanger Suche aus Verzweiflung einen Herbert Johnson Fedora gekauft! Das war vor 2-3 Jahren? Deine Hüte sehen großartig aus. Wirklich - kompliment. Ich wünschte ich wäre betuchter, ich würde sofort zuschlagen.
