New here.... Hi !
Been reading the forum for a while but finally got my ### in gear and signed up... Love the site.
I've got a Wested (RotLA) on the way (shipped yesterday!), a HJ and a pair of trousers on the way from Magnoli, shirts on the way from Wested and Todd, a nice original WII bag with a Todd strap, a Todd gun belt, a WW1 Webley holster, a replica Webley on the way from the US... too much money! I need some boots in the fullness of time.
I studied Ancient and Medieval history at university many years ago and I've also done a bit of sitting in muddy trenches digging up Roman bits and bobs in my time.
Anyhow. Hello all and it's great to be here

Wow, you got it all at once.
I am on the 4th jacket trying to find which one is the best, have no boots, no hat, no whip, no holster, no gun. I have though a bag with Magnoli strap, a shirt from NH and Magnoli, pants from Wested, NH and Paris (which I used to sell here).
Welcome aboard. I think you will have a nice time here, even though sometimes friendly conversations may end up like a boxing match.
No matter that, it's still the greatest fun.

Thanks guys. Really looking foward to getting the jacket... I can't help thinking that a lot of the complaints voiced here regarding certain jackets not looking right in terms of the fit is down to peoples body shapes as much as anything. If you've got a big old belly or really narrow shoulders no jacket is going to make you look like Mr Jones... Now I've said that I'll probably be moaning about my jacket next week.

Welcome!! I'm just jealous that your jacket is on the way and mine is not. I ordered over 7 weeks ago, but had a lot of custom requests, so I expected 6-8 weeks. How long have you waited, and was it custom or off the rack?
I have the Adventurebilt hat on the way, Paris pants from Platon, and pants and shirt from Wested shipping with my jacket, soon I hope. I do have Aldens.

I waited about four weeks from placing the order. I'm not sure if it was off the rack or not. 46 chest but with arm length slightly longer than a standard 46R (from Wested's chart). No other unusual requests!Indiana Johnson wrote:Welcome!! I'm just jealous that your jacket is on the way and mine is not.
