Gemma's off to New York for her 21st

Post by PETER »

Hi folks, popped my head in to see if I missed anything and of course I did. Nothing I cannot sort.
I was on vacation in Tunisia and had a fall damaging my knee, add that to my still bad eye and I am not much use to anyone.
However next week I am in the frame as Gemma leaves tomorrow for a weeks vacation in New York with her boyfriend and Saturday is her 21st Birthday.
So not too many emails or serious questions please.
Cheers
Peter
.
PS Gemma's email is Gemma@Wested.Com for birthday wishes but don't tell her I told you.

Good to see you back here, Peter!
You didn't have had the fall in Tunisia, did you? If so, it must be the story of a great adventure (if not, I would invent one  ).

Get well soon! You know, there will be lot to do then we meet again this summer (our nightly visit to a certain room in a prominent house   ).

Best regards!

Actually I was in the Roman Ampitheatre in Tunisia pretending to be a British Gladiator fighting a ferocous Lion disguised as a ginger tom cat.
Leaping from one wall to another 'Indy' mode a flip flop (slipper) gave way and I crashed into a 2000 years old Roman block and tried to destroy it with my left knee. Needless to say I failed and limped off into the sunset consoling myself with a cold beer with the emty can on my injured knee. Are you impressed. I could have just said 'Fell over'

On a serious note it has not got better and I have a torn cartilage.
With the bad eye Pam says she will buy me a parrot so I can be Long John Silver in Treasure Island. Such sypathy.

THat's all folks!

Practice yelling 'AAARRRRRRRRrrrrr!" a lot, and wear some of the left over Pirates of the Caribbean outfits you made, and you'll be good to go.

At El Jem??? I was there just this past September. Spectacular isn't it. I would recommend Tunisia to anyone!

That means that I will receive my jacket after your knee and eye is healed and after Gemma returns from NY?

Just kidding hehe.

Sounds like a defective flip flop. Perhaps a call to a solicitor or barrister is in order.

Best wishes for a quick recovery.
