Wested wait time?

Post by Indiana Johnson »

Can anyone chime in on the current average wait time on a Wested? I'm not worried yet or anything, it's been just over 5 weeks since I submitted my order, and I did have a few custom requests. I'm just curious.
Thank you

Just curious, did Gemma or Peter confirm the order? You don't even really know if it's in the pipeline yet if they haven't done so.

You may also want to give them a call to make sure.

The order was confirmed within 12 hours. I know it will get here eventually. I guess I was just getting a bit anxious, and needed a little reassurance. :D

Personally, both the jackets I ordered in Feb (seperately) took six weeks from order confirmation to front door... But during that time period, I read of at least three people that recieved their custom jackets in three weeks or less, and had placed their orders after mine.

I guess it really depends on your luck, but if its already been six weeks, then your jacket should be already on its way.

On a side note, if you order an off-the-rack, it should take them a week or less!

I've now sent 3 mails over a month and still haven't got a reply. Been using Peter@wested.com and wested@wested.com

I'm a patience guy, I don't mind waiting for stuff, I'm on Steve's list waiting for a AB fedora and have waited over a year for Stormtrooper armour. but at least Wested could reply to an email. It's getting to the point where I won't bother getting a Jacket.

Anyone else having problems contacting them?

Yep... and as I mentioned in another post, I have this thing against telephones so apparently no jacket for me either for a while. I'm probably going to try some more emails over the course of some weeks and hope for the best.

Well, I am not from the UK.. USA here.. I called using their phone number listed on their site and gave Gemma my credit card info right over the phone. They were very pleasant and my wait time was about half of what they quoted me which was 20 business days. The jacket was in my hands 11 days after I ordered it (weekends included). Just use this link to get the number straight from their site. I am sure your luck will be as good as mine. :)

P. S. When you order, make sure to have suit coat measurements handy as these jackets fit snug yet way comfy.
