This is Dr. J’s distressed FS Expedition (courtesy of Koreana Jones). For comparison, I also have Chamorro’s non-distressed Expedition from the same era (about two to three years ago). My current Expedition is also in some of these pics along with my Koreana Jones distressed Dark Seal Brown Expedition prototype (from 99'). Enjoy

Man, they look great! I love those pockets. Got to get me one. Wish they wer echeaper, cos I have to pay another $100 tax on the thing here in Australia.

Have someone in the states buy it and ship it. I remember Sam Cox (another down under fan) had to spend an extra gazillion to buy one. That's bogus.
Great looking jackets.... How does the sizing run in the Expedition? I know that for the Historical A-2 and the M422-A, I had to drop-down a size for a good fit. (I have a dead-on 44 inch chest)
I actually have an older G&B M422-A (Talon repo zipper) that is a size 40, and although a bit snug, fits pretty well...

It's all preference. If you dropped a size down for the others, then I would also drop a size for the Expedition as well. You can always send it back for another as long as you’re getting off the rack. Cheers
Are these lamb or goat? I'm considering ordering an Expedition in lamb... I had one of the seal goat Expeditions a few years back but got rid of it because of the drape.

Thanks for the photos!

Here's an old post. Remember guys this jacket was an original prototype from 1999 (I got it from Koreana). The "wrong details" are not part of the current Expedition design. Cheers
Those pockets look like they've got some good scallop going on! Say, can one get a VF-17 like that made, or is that one of the ones you had made specially that can't be reproduced?
First, I'd like to thank Dizzy Gillespie for modeling my jacket. Second, I'd like to thank Koreana Jones for the fine distressing and last, I can't wait to get this jacket back into my hot, little hands.

I believe that they'll make you one. The only thing is that you need to be sure of your size. Once you put patches on a jacket, you bought it. Cheers

Yeah, I wish (not that I’d like to be dead….,you know what I mean).
Rundquist, I was curious as to whether you still have your Toko Ri G-1 from Flightsuits?
Despite heavy wear during winter months here, the patches on mine still look brand spanking new although the leather is finally starting to age nicely.

I had to replace it. It got a bit big on me. If you want the patches to age you have to roll them in your hand, leave your jacket on the floor, and let them get dirty. Cheers
Very cool pictures Rundquist! What gauge zipper does (and did) G&B use for the expediation? It looks smaller than the Wested, oh and what color is standard for their zips on these jackets?
This one looks identical, but it’s from a different brand. They were probably subcontracted from the same maker. I bet the only difference is the label. Cheers

Just noticed your post Holly. The Wife and I moved our two girls out to Charleston for a change of scenery and a business opportunity! We've been here since February. We love it here so far though the humidity takes some getting used to!
