Jacket Arrives W/Pics !!!
I ordered it on the 19th and it was at my doorstep today. 9 working days and it was reported as being in the mail by Gemma, personally. I can't wait to provide pics as this Temple of Doom jacket appears to be way different than his normal pattern. It is WAY more "Raiderized" side vent. The side vent actually is open up to mid-strap on the coat like a Raiders Jacket. I literally had to take the coat off to double-check.. but yes.
I have had folks almost drive off the road when they saw me in my Fedora and new jacket and I have only had it 3.5 hours .... If anyone has questions please feel free to ask .

Chewie,
All I asked for was a size 36 Temple jacket with 34 chest and 23.5" sleeves... The jacket was requested to be pre-distressed cowhide. I am noticing that the sleeve holes are very small but incredibly comfy. It is as tho Peter had read one of our Temple threads on "the perfect TOD" (recently posted) and this was his attempt to come very close.. From what I read in the thread, I really think this is close. Thank you for the kind words. I will post some pics with me wearing the jacket soon.
Scott
P.S. Does anyone know someone that could translate the phrase "At what point does this become an obsession" into Latin or German? I think that would look nice as a sticker on the coat hanger...

It really does look like wested have improved the pattern a great deal. The tapered 'back' bit, the longer bit at the shoulder, smaller arm holes (I think was the most important change), even the pockets look much better. Wish i'd waited a couple of years to get mine, but that's the way it goes.
I might just have to get one of these new improved westeds..
