Nothing more to say... really
Most of you know that the jacket is my favorite topic. However, you might have noticed that I have been silent during the past few weeks.
Yeah, I think I have nothing more to say about the Rotla jacket. Covered all the areas I guess....
Made an order on 14 Feb, which was the outcome of all what has been discussed here lately. Still no news from Wested.
There's one thing I still need to check when the jacket gets here and that's whether the 80s fit corresponds to what we see on screen or the standard fit is better... (The 80s fit I used to have was a pred cow and was very stiff I guess, so comparison wasn't really possible).
What do you think?

don't you mean "perfectamundo.........ayyyyyyyy!!!!"Oh, I have two already. Perfecto replicas make by 'Nice' leather of UK.
Great jackets but I 'm too old for that.
sorry couldn't resist.
platon, i'm in the same boat. i fired off the agent 5 specs along with my measurements to wested and enquirred if this would be a custom order or a standard order. i received a message from gemma that they are considering it but i have yet to hear from them. this was 2 weeks after you made your order.
i guess they are putting together an undisputable raiders jacket for us diehard gearheads....can't wait to see what comes out of the woodworks!

sorry platon.....in regards to your question:
i have 3 westeds. i have asked for the 80's fit on the last 2 and i cannot confirm if the first 2 were 80's fit or not (the 2nd being a size larger and too big for me to really discern the cut). the last one i received has to be an 80's fit as i cannot see it getting more of a millitary/tighter cut than what it is. though its a tod length, it looks very close to the raiders hawaii jacket in cut and length (making me believe that the raiders jacket is not as short as what everyone thinks). i would have to say that 80's cut is SA.

Platon, I'm in about the same boat with gear in general. Naturally, I still enjoy the hobby, but to be honest, with a few exceptions I've gone just about as far as I can go with it. I still check in about everyday, but I don't post as much. I guess I've said about all I have to say.
There are still a few pieces of gear I want , like an Indy jacket that fits me like my vintage A-2, (i.e. slim and more Raiders like) but other hobbies have been getting the bulk of my interest and all of my money lately.

you betcha! i've seen him in alot of adam sandler movies as of late....little nicky had him attacked by a swarm of bees, he was the coach in waterboy (i believe).
i think he's done very well in his career. i also recall that he was one of the producers for macguyver as well (correct me if i'm wrong).
he's done alot to earn my respect in the entertainment industry......(my personal favourate was him playing a scroogish character in an americanized story of 'a christmas carol'....can't remember the title though).
