Hello all. I am new in here.

I have read all the threads concerning the Mark VII, and also the Bag Page and FAQ, the jones-jr pages... but I haven't found any indication on the prize of such a bag (I mean a 60-years old one). Could you tell me how much you paid yours (in various parts of the world) ?

Galahad, Welcome to the club -
These days youll normally see the MKVI go for around $40 - $60....The MKVII on the other hand are getting more scarce and usually go for $50 and up! But as Michaelson would say "Kepp turning over rocks, there are still deals to be had out there!"

Well, I guess Michaelson is right. I didn't have to search for long though. Within 24 hours, I found a mint 1941 MK VI for 4 Euros and a MK VII for 8 Euros. That means the two bags for about $13.

And I'm sure there are still lots of them here in France.

If that is indeed the case, you ought to buy them up and start a little mail order business for those of us who can't find authentic ones!
