There was an old thread in here somewhere about whether or not to wear a Wested in the rain, but I suppose this is a good a thread as any to weigh in: L.A. had a pretty decent downpour Thursday night and I was caught in it for about 20 minutes -- and stayed high and dry for the duration. I have a lambskin which I bought about 2 years ago, and it's still my favorite jacket.

One of the best selling points about the Wested is the price. Peter could've easily gouged the fans of the movies who wanted a jacket directly from the original maker. Instead, his is one of the least expensive on the market.

Kudos, sir!

I haven't been checking in nearly as much lately either, but I had to comment.

Peter, I have been perfectly happy with my one and only authentic brown lambskin jacket that I bought from you almost two years ago. I find myself wearing it more often than any of the other leather jackets I own.

Every business has good moments and bad. You can't be perfect all the time. You're blessed in that you have the kind of loyal customer base for which any other business would commit murder to obtain.

Thank you for providing such a valued item to fans and everyone else who appreciates a quality product.

Cheers!

My Wested goatskin has been on countless adventures with me since I got it three or four years ago. It's wrinkled nicely but still looks practically new! It's built like a tank. I guess I'll just have to be dragged behind a truck to really weather it, huh? I was amazed at how little I paid for such a custom fit, quality leather jacket. Is there anything I'd change on my jacket? Maybe one or two minor things, but that has nothing to do with Peter, because he gave me exactly what I asked for! I'm hoping to save up for a horsehide jacket someday, and have recommended Wested to many people.

It has been nearly four years since I ordered my goatskin ToD style Wested, and it is still a great jacket. Snow, sleet, rain or sun it is the only jacket I wear. Thanks again Peter, you and your team do wonderful work.

I'm a new member to COW and just received my very first Wested this April. Wested was on-time with delivery, quick in reponse to questions and of the finest quality product. I've wanted this jacket since I was in 1st grade (1981) having first seen Raiders of the Lost Ark and am beyond pleased. Much gratitude and a tip of the hat...or fedora in this case...to Peter and company. Inescapably the best of what's around!!!
