ARe you talking during the filming of ROTLA, TOD, LC, or currently? The chest size has changed over the years.

That doesn't sound right... If Ford was a 38, then how come his size 40R Wested looked pretty fitted?

Because it was what is now referred to as the 80s fit. The tighter, more contoured fit.

The reason Ford's jacket looked fitted was because it was fitted! Peter measured him personally!

The sizings we are given are from Noels notes I believe, they may be just what he has records of etc.

One thing to not that even today, if you get a size label in a Wested it is only an approximation, it's the nearest to the size the jacket is. ie if you get a 39" you may get given a 38" label etc.

Anyway Fords jacket in certain scenes does look tight but this is probably more in line with fashon of the time, he might really have "needed' a 40 but got it made tighter to a 38. Just look how clothes were fitted in the late 70's early 80's!

Wow - the most common hat size for men too! Sorry, I could not resist...
Don't worry. No hard feelings. :)

No monkey arms. Same arms as any other human being. Unless if that French guy trying on the TOD jacket at NH's house has monkey arms too.
