Nice!!! That is one awesome looking lid you got there, Magnum (though the scenery behind you doesn't look much like Hawaii, what gives? ). I was thinking about a Keppler a while back, but ended up going for the Fed Deluxe, since Lee's turnaround time was way too long back then (2003). How long was your wait? I'm guessing Lee may be getting these hats out a bit quicker these days. Anyways, awesome hat!!! Thanks for posting...you don't see too many new Kepplers around here these days.

Thanks GCR, You gotta love NW Indiana in the winter ](*,)
I got it in about 9 weeks. He said he has a few in stock. Mine is a 7 1/4 or metric 58 had to order it. Lee is great to deal with and the price of $150.00 with shipping wasn't bad.

That's a great looking fedora, Magnum. I can sympathize with the Indiana winter, but this is my back door after a snowstorm this week... Image. And that probably seems lame to the people around Oswego, where they have in the neighborhood of 12 FEET of snow so far this year.
Cheers to all those warm climate members who never know the experience of snow so deep you can get lost in it  .

That's one fine looking piece of headgear! It's been a while since we've seen a Keppler displayed. Thanks for sharing! :D

HIGH regards! Michaelson

Just thought I would chim in here with my old trusty Keppler. I am thinking back to when I bought this. It must have been 2002 or 2003 if I recall. Anyway here is one of my best friend, in terms on a hat. It has seen me on many adventures.

That's what I was thinking. Honestly, if Magnum hadn't said it was a Keppler, I'd have thought it was an Adventurebilt. That's how good it looks to my eyes.

Well, lol, sadly no. That is due to the fact that my poor old keppler has been through the wringer. Remember in Scotland, I know I re-blocked it at least once. It has made it through several film shoots, many re-blockings, and all the general adventuring. Your old Keppler is a prized item it being the Templars lid.

Great looking fedora, glad you are happy with it.

I was at a gun show where Lee had a booth with his gear. Nice guy to talk with. Among his whips and other gear he of course had some hats, all open crown except for the ones that he threw a bash on for the display. I dang near bought one since it was right there in my hands.

Let us know how it wears in and ages. Enjoy!
