Hi all,
I've ordered a Wested horsehide jacket in a very minimalist design, and as the days tick by, I grow more anxious to see how it will turn out.
However, my main concern is that the jacket really depends on having a nice drape. The reason I picked HH was because lambskin was just too thin, and goat was unavailable.
So I guess I'm just wondering if Wested's HH is very blocky and stiff, and usually doesn't tend to 'fold' easily? Or is it a reasonable match with goat in terms of drape?
I've seen some of the pictures that some of you folks posted here of your HH jackets, but can't really tell how supple and drape(py?) your jackets are... So any of you proud Wested HH owners care to comment?
How well does Wested's Horsehide 'Drape'?
